Very well written. If I am being honest, I am a fan of an MLS and NPSL team. I would love and support pro/rel if it were to happen and I think it could be revolutionary to US soccer. However when all you see is negativity, slander, and insults thrown at myself and others on the internet, it makes me want to have this fail just for the sole fact of not giving these internet bullies what they want. Its ok to support an MLS team and still want this movement to work.
As long as you have some of these toxic individuals on the internet like Ted, the wine salesman, the guy who runs a coaching academy who's bother actually coaches on an MLS team and others this will simply turn off people who want it to work. Good luck with your efforts and I again want to remind everyone that its ok to support MLS or any level of domestic soccer and still want pro/rel to happen without bullying.
Thank you for the comment. I would love to see less divisiveness and more common ground.
I would also love to see people like yourself who think that it would be revolutionary speak up in support of whatever version of systemic change you think would lead us to this promised land of an open pyramid!
